In the middle of natural park Gola di Rossa e di Frasassi are the caves, called by many the most beautiful in Europe. Combine a visit to the caves with a visit to Genga and the Capella di Santa Maria intra Sax, built in Gola di Frasassi, the village of San Vittore and possibly the adventure park Frasassi Avventura.
The Frasassi caves are located near the town of Genga, 26 kilometres from Qui Voglio (a 20-minute drive) and in the Gola della Rossa and Frasassi Regional Natural Park. Located at an altitude of 400 metres and 300 metres deep, the Frasassi caves are a particularly large cave system with a dense network of corridors, tunnels, shafts and chambers with a total length of about five kilometres. Many bats live in the caves, there are small ponds and many stalactites and stalagmites. The Frasassi caves are open to the public and one of the main attractions of the Marche region.
